Kids Tooth Team Outreach

Texas Pre-Dental Society supports Kids Tooth Team Outreach (KTTO), a 501(c)(3) non-profit, that provides free dental care for all children, regardless of their socioeconomic status or geographical location. KTTO’s mission is to expand the availability of oral health access throughout Central Texas.

Texas Pre-Dental Society partners with Kids Tooth Team Outreach by providing volunteer opportunities for our members to serve on the mobile dental clinic van and leadership positions in the three KTTO committees. The Texas Pre-Dental Society’s Philanthropy Director oversees these three essential outreach committees that play a crucial role in the non-profit’s success, as described below.

Kids Tooth Team Outreach Committees

  • Marketing

The Marketing Committee plans and runs fundraising initiatives to raise money for Kids Tooth Team Outreach that help fund site visits and patient treatment. This committee also expands the reach and impact of Kids Tooth Team Outreach through involvement in our local and regional community, raising awareness of our non-profit and ensuring equal access to dental care for all children.

  • Logistics Data Entry

The Logistics Data Entry Committee plays a crucial role in supporting the success of volunteer dental visits at rural elementary schools. This dedicated team enters patient information and consent forms into Carestack, our patient software, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records. This committee contributes significantly to the smooth and efficient operation each outreach visit.

  • Logistics Doctor Relations

The Logistics Doctor Relations Committee networks within our local community to recruit volunteer dentists, hygienists, and assistants that are essential to provide essential dental care. This committee creates and maintains relations with our new and returning dentist volunteers.
